It can be so worthwhile to clear the energy

of your home.

When there's been difficult or traumatic emotions within a home or on the land that

the home has been built on, it can affect

the occupants within the home, detrimentally.

The invisible vibration of many disturbing emotions can imprint themselves on furniture, embed within walls, create all sorts of unhealthy space for anyone spending time there.

Excessive alcohol or drugs are in a

league of their own.

They create entry points in the atmosphere

that allow nasty energies to permeate a 

building which can have serious health

effects on the occupants, especially those

who are sensitive or young.

A lot of the time when you move into a home

you don't know who the previous occupants

have been or what kind of people they were.

There could have been volatile arguments,

domestic violence, divorce, a death within a home, a loss within the family, the list goes on.

You don't know if the previous occupants

were heavy gamblers, drug addicts or alcoholics

or were addicted to arguments.

Living in a home without having it cleansed

is like putting on a strangers 

knickers without washing them. 

Disgustingly gross, to say the least.

So if you move into a home,

please get it cleansed thoroughly

before you spend one night in it

and please don't assume that saging it

(smoking it with incense) will be all that it needs. At best, this only clears a few outer layers

of stale energy within a home
and it won't remove big energy problems,

especially if they're animate.
A lot of the time this is just like blowing at

smoke, it clears a bit but mostly just shifts

it around a room.
It's a naive view of spiritual activity.
